Level 3, Day 10 – 30 Day Shred Complete!

It figures that on my last day of the 30 Day Shred, Margot would scream through almost the entire thing.

On the bright side, I did everything without adapting or stopping, except for the scissor abs (I go up and down with those because I cannot hold them 3 inches above the ground) and the plank raises (a good adaptation is to do them in plank without the weights — try it!).

But, um, YIPPEE! I did this workout for a full 30 days and boy did I see results.

Here was my plan:

1) Workout every morning before breakfast
2) Eat sensibly (I'm exclusively breastfeeding)
3) Drink only water (one alcoholic beverage a week)
4) No eating after 8pm

And look! Way less back fat! (Thanks to Quinlan for enduring my photo commands, er barks).

Starting weight: Around 180
Ending weight: 168.5 (WOO!)

I don't see a huge difference from the last 10 days, but my pants are definitely looser and I lost 2 lbs, so something happened! Oh, and I fit into a size 10 pair of jeans.

I have a few great Graduation Prizes that I'll post on Friday (I'm still finalizing them!) and if you're going on to April with us, check out our new workout Battle of the Sexes Biggest Loser Style. I'm abandoning Jillian for Bob, but if you're still doing the Shred or want to try her other workouts, Bill will be heading the Team Jillian team.

Or maybe it's Team Billian?

Tomorrow we'll be sharing our pics and starting measurements. (Sure wish I had taken them before starting the 30 Day Shred because WHOA!). And we'll follow up with our diet and exercise plans. We even have a fancy spreadsheet to tally the results.

    Thanks for the inspiration. I’m a counselor and writer and am fighting the weight gain associated with menopause and sitting on my rump all day long. Today will be day one of “the shred” for me.

    WOWOOWWWW I just did Day 2 of Level 1 and feel like death. Maybe 5 pound weights were too ambitious? But this definitely motivates me to keep it up!!! 28 more days!!!

    These are awesome to look at! Do you have new “after pics” showing your total transformation? I just finished Day 25 of the 30 day slim down and am not liking Jillian very much right now. :)

    Well it seems really nice, i’m right now 143lbs, i have aim to reach 127lbs, i’m controlling my diet carefully n feed my 1.5year baby over night n once during daytime.
    I have started today this Jillian’s Level 1, i have weights of 2kgs, my qtn is, if i continue with 2kgss weighs jillians workout would that be okahi? oR 3lbs weight is required?

    That is well known that money can make people free. But what to do when somebody doesn’t have money? The only one way is to receive the loans and just bank loan.
