Last night I was lounging out on the couch and my husband patted my stomach and said "Oh man. You're letting yourself go."
I don't remember exactly what I said after that because I was too freaking pissed.
Granted, my husband has never had a way with words, so I'm sort of used to it. I generally snark him back and then it becomes a goofy joke between us where he tries to tell me he said something else – like "No, I said 'You're putting on a show'!"
But then I immediately ran to the scale to take my weight – something I've been avoiding since stopping my daily workouts and starting up the Couch to 5K training program.
And much to my surprise (at around 11pm on a Thursday night – a belly full of food and a bladder full of pee), I'm 158 (down 2 pounds since my final weight during the Biggest Loser Challenge).
2 mile runs, 3 days per week + 1 day of the 30 Day Shred + Elise Gulan Abs = Eat that suckah!
