Dealing With Stress

We all deal with stress differently.  Normally, I eat my way through it but if I’m in a good exercise routine, I’ll try and channel that stress through exercise and not food.  At the moment, my stress level is to the max and I’m in NO exercise routine, I’m pregnant and not sleeping.  Add all of that up and it’s making for a diet and exercise fail of epic proportions.

Stress is never good when you’re trying to live a healthy lifestyle, eat well and get sleep every night.

I need to just keep reminding myself that every day is a new day, every meal is a new meal.  One bad day or bad meal doesn’t make me a failure, it just makes me human.  I keep drinking my water, trying to eat all of my fruits and vegetables and getting in exercise where I can.

I have 9 weeks to go, give or take, before this baby shows up.  I know that more exercise would be way better for me, as would 8 hours of solid sleep, but I’ll take the small victories where I can.

I hope things get less stressful for you soon! Personally, I find a kick ass workout is just the thing to relieve stress in most situations (it’s usually the first thing I try if I can to destress), but I’m sure the whole not-sleeping-and-pregnant thing is putting a damper on that too. Sending good, warm-milk-and-comfy-pillow thoughts your way…
