Another day of “just” doing Shred. I ate correctly yesterday, and it’s amazing how much better I feel in the mornings when I do that!
Anyway, yesterday’s pushup improvement doesn’t seem to be a fluke…they certainly aren’t easy but that’s where I’m seeing a difference. Shoulder presses are insanely hard, though. I had to skip a rep my muscles hurt so badly. Stress is what causes our bodies to adapt, right Jillian? As hard as those are, I’m also thinking I need to increase the weights on a few of the later exercises. I get nothing from a couple of the other exercises. We’ll see, I had told myself I was going to just go straight through without monkeying with it.
Oh, and every time I see Natalie stop doing the lunges and then later Jillian says, “You guys don’t even cheat when I’m up here” I have to laugh. I wonder if Jillian was annoyed when she saw that later.


Hi. I’m a first time “shredder” and just have a question/clarification. I thought I would do 7 days of each level.
Is that correct? I’m on day 2 and love the workout!

I’m not sure she says (I can’t remember), but with 30 days and 3 levels, I just did 10 days on each level. If you’re really cranking on them and feel like you’re ready to move up, go for it.
