It’s difficult to truly quantify the effects of a fit pregnancy, but just because I don’t have hard data doesn’t mean my anecdotal evidence isn’t valuable.
Most reputable sources can safely say that a fit pregnancy does generally mean a healthier baby and mom, an easier labor and delivery, and a smooth and fast recovery.

I had been toying around with the idea of doing a week long review of Fit Flops, Shape-Ups, and other MBX shoes (I know that most major sneaker brands now make them) here at Shredheads, and so I stuck a pair of Fit Flops into my Amazon cart.
But after seeing Tone-Ups, the Skechers brand...

Going primal – Quitting the diet mentality
I have to admit that even as someone who has not been a serial dieter, I was inspired by AndreAnna’s recent post at Bodies in Motivation.
I’ve done my fair share of eating low-fat and fat-free foods, as well as just generally obsessing about what I eat and how much I exercise. I also understand...

Losing workout motivation – Where has my mojo gone?
When you’re doing the same workout for a long period time, it’s pretty easy to get bored. Such is the case when you’ve trained for a big event, like a race, and then can’t seem to find the motivation to keep going.
Whether you’re doing the 30 Day Shred, a C25K program, or a regular...
